We the Subscribers do hereby in pursuance of Act of the Legislature of the State New York entitled "An Act to provide for the Incorporation of Religious Societies, passed twenty seventh day of March one thousand eight hundred and one Do hereby Certify that on the Eighteenth day of January one thousand eght hundred and four a large number of Inhabitants of the Towns of Manlius and Pompey in the County of Onondaga and State of New York convened at the house of Ralph R. Phelps in the town of Manlius aforesaid did by a large majority of Votes Resolve to incorporate themselves into a Religious Episcopal Society of the name and stile of Manlius Trinity Church, and then and there by a majority of Votes elected two Church Wardens (Viz.) Richard Salmon, Azariah Blanchard - And also Eight vestermen (Viz. Aaron Wood, David Williams, Jonathan Hurd, Ralph R. Phelps, Merritt M. Clarke, Timothy Teale, Charles B. Bristol and Samuel Woodworth.  And also unanimously resolved that Wednesday in Esther* Week shall be the day of their future Anual Elections of their Successors.  Given under hands and Seals David Williams, Chairman, Alvan Marsh, R. R. Phelps in presence of Charles B. Bristol.  Recorded the twenty fifth day of January Eighteen hundred and four.  Jasper Hopper  Clk.
