Founded in 1829, a wooden building was contructed on the site of the present United Church.  In
1933 the Presbyterian and Baptist congregations merged, and the United Church of Fayetteville
was formed.  

The  Presbyterian records are now at the Presbyterian Church depository in Philadelphia.
The baptismal, marriage and death records which follow were copied from the microfilm by
Nancy Schiffhauer, 1998.
